Haematite Iron Ore

Haematite Iron Ore

Haematite is an iron ore mineral rich in iron oxide, widely used as a primary raw material for steel production.

Haematite is a high-grade iron ore composed mainly of iron oxide (Fe₂O₃), typically containing 55–70% iron. It is widely used in the steel industry as a primary raw material due to its high iron content, ease of beneficiation, and lower impurities compared to other ores. Haematite is preferred in blast furnace operations and also finds applications in cement, pigments, and as a heavy media in coal washing.
