Semi Coke

Semi Coke

Semi Coke is a high-carbon, low-ash fuel and reducing agent widely used in metallurgical, ferroalloy, and chemical industries. It is known for its high fixed carbon content, low volatile matter, and excellent thermal efficiency, making it an ideal alternative to metallurgical coke in many industrial processes.

Semi Coke is produced by low-temperature carbonization of high-quality coal in vertical shaft furnaces. This process results in a porous, strong material with uniform particle size, low sulfur, and low ash content. Its stable combustion characteristics and high calorific value ensure reliable performance in high-temperature applications.
Grades Available:
Semi Coke – Low Ash Grade
Suitable for ferroalloy smelting, silicon metal production, and calcium carbide manufacturing. Provides high carbon efficiency with minimal residue.
Semi Coke – Low Sulfur Grade
Ideal for applications requiring cleaner combustion, such as steelmaking, blast furnaces, and chemical processing industries.
Key Features:
•    High fixed carbon content
•    Low ash and low sulfur levels
•    High calorific value with stable combustion
•    Strong porosity for efficient gas flow
•    Cost-effective substitute for metallurgical coke
Applications:
•    Ferroalloy and silicon metal production
•    Steelmaking and blast furnace operations
•    Calcium carbide manufacturing
•    Chemical and metallurgical industries
•    Industrial fuel and reducing agent applications
